About Dr. Finister
Dr. Finister is a highly skilled school psychologist and Licensed Psychological Associate with extensive experience in both educational and clinical settings. She holds a Specialist in School Psychology degree from Texas Woman’s University and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership and Policies from the University of Texas at Arlington, where she focused on special education law.
She has worked across diverse environments, including a unique role in Qatar, where she helped identify learning differences in the Middle East. Her background combines expertise in both psychoeducational and clinical evaluations, having trained under Dr. Laura Sanders in private practice after returning to Texas.
